I was tagged by the amazing icebreaker694 to do the 2016/2017 Tag! I had been looking for a good tag to do when I happened to be tagged in this. So thank you for the tag! Anyway, it’s the second month of 2017 and I can not believe it. It feels like just yesterday was the first day of the year. Let’s get started before February ends on me!
The Rules:
1. Mention the creator – David @ theguywhosaidalwaysno
2. Use the image that you find in this article
3. Mention the blogger who has chosen you
4. Answer the questions
5. Mention 9 bloggers/friends and let them know through a comment on their blog
Describe Your 2016 in 3 Words:
Exciting, Knowledgeable, and Life-Changing. Life-Changing is considered one word, right?
Write the Name of 2 People that Have Characterized Your 2016:
- My dog – a dog is a person in my house. Just ask my sisters. I spent a huge gap of my summer laying in bed because I had nothing better to do. My dog literally lays in bed all day and sleeps. She might randomly get a burst of energy once a day when you give her a bone but that’s it.
- Dory – The one from Finding Dory. In the movie, Dory had to go around and try to find out who she really was. She also found out who her friends really were, and that was what I did. I needed to surround myself with better people from the previous year and I did that in 2016. I’m so happy that did that!
Write the Most Beautiful Place You Visited in 2016 and Why You Liked It So Much:
I visited New Bern, North Carolina for the first time in my life and I fell in love with it. It was a random day trip we took because my dad wanted some fresh, real seafood and let me tell you, it was worth it. We walked around Downtown New Bern and I got some of the most amazing photos of the water, with some birds and boats in it. I would love to live there for the rest of my life.
Write the Most Delicious Food You Tasted in 2016:
I hate fish. I love seafood though. I will eat anything but fish. During 2016, while we were in New Bern, my mom got this fish that was stuffed with something. It was stuffed flounder, that was stuffed with crab and it tasted amazing. I wish that I would have taken a photo of it because it was absolutely beautiful. Also, this restaurant had the best Bleu Cheese Dressing in the world. It was homemade and I would have drank it. I can talk about food all day if you gave me the chance!
Write the Event That Had Marked You The Most in 2016:
I can’t believe that I am going to bring this up here but I would have to say this election. I know, this is probably not the thing that you would expect but because of this election, I actually gained a few friends and I grew closer to my dad. My dad and I would talk about the election almost every day and I would constantly be learning. Trust me, if you knew me personally, you would know how opinionated I was during the whole thing and I can thank that on my dad. Now with the friends – I would have never had guessed that I would become friends with them because I never really liked them. Well, through the whole thing, we would hang out and I would give the one fruit snacks. Also, the one was just like my dad. Maybe that’s why I became friends with them when I did…
Write the Finest Purchase You Made in 2016, and If You Want, Link A Photo:
So many things. But, I can barley tell you all the books I bought two months ago without having to refer back to my wrap up post. But I think I would have to go with this dress I ordered but I never received. I had been looking at a dress at Rue21 for a few months and I had finally decided to order it. The thing was, it never had my size so I would check every day. The day that they had my size, it was on sale as well. I ordered it and maybe two or three weeks later, we get an email that our order was cancelled. For no reason. Yep. I spent $24.99 on a dress and never got it. That’s why I am boycotting Rue21, or in out house as we like to call it – not buy anything because you really want your dress that they somehow don’t want Ann to have. And now they don’t even have the dress anymore on their website.
Write One Place You Want to Visit in 2017:
Florida. I know everyone basically wants to go and visit Florida but I seriously want to. Over the summer, my sisters and dad got to go to Florida but my mom and I couldn’t. I really wanted to be able to wake up in the morning, look at the water and see the dolphins, and see a sunset/sunrise over the water. My dad wants to take another trip there this summer and I really hope that it works out this time.
Write One Plate/Food You Want to Eat In 2017:
Lobster Mac and Cheese. I love lobster and I love mac and cheese. I always hear how amazing lobster mac and cheese is and I have been wanting to try it for so long. But, I want to try it at a seafood restaurant. I don’t think that I would get a real opinion on it if I ate it out of a frozen food section box.
I Tag:
And anyone else who wants to do this tag because I really don’t have the brainpower to think about 6 more people right now.
How has your 2017 been? How was your 2016? What would your answers be for the tag? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Thanks for tagging me. And I think the election caused many people to become opinionated and interested in politics or at least current affairs. I usually have a mild interest in them but it amped up with this election.

No problem! I can’t wait to read your answers! This election definitely opened my eyes to politics. I really never cared about it until now and I can see myself in the future caring about it a little more than what I did.
