Oh hi! I didn’t see you there! Let me introduce myself. My name is Ann and I will be your person tour guide through everything you need to know about the person behind this screen. Are you ready for the ride? Are you? I don’t think you are!!!
Ann was born into an interesting family. As the oldest to two sisters and no brothers, she has to experiences things first. But that also means that she gets the newest of everything, which drives her sisters insane. Her mom works at a local middle school as the media coordinator who is originally from Pennsylvania and her dad is retired military who is still making airplanes to this day who is from Ohio. How they both met in North Carolina is still a mystery to Ann.
Ann has always had a passion for reading. As a kid, she would love the times that her mom and her would lay in bed and read together. She remembers all the times that she and her mom would switch back and forth with reading to help Ann improve her speech (she had some speech issues while she was younger. She still can’t say ‘world’ correctly and it has been ten years). As she grew up, she was introduced to so many new books and she grew this love of reading.
No one could keep up with the number of books that she was reading. She always had a book with her, no matter where they were going. Ann still remembers this one time at Walmart, she pulled out a book and began reading it while her mom was shopping. There are moments that she falls into a reading slump but she still continues to read through the pain.
There is no telling what Ann could be doing right now. She could be sitting in class right now, working on some homework, or reading your lovely comments (yes, she reads ALL of them!) She could be practicing one of her instruments that she plays. Or she could be reading a book. More than likely she is reading a book or asleep. Maybe in a fight with her sisters but that is normal.
Along with all the books, Ann is a big fan of the arts. Well, musical arts. She plays both piano and clarinet very well and is currently learning guitar but her music teacher (her dad) is a little rusty so she basically has to teach herself. Something you might not have expected but she actually taught herself piano and clarinet despite the fact that her mom plays both clarinet and piano, and she has had some amazing teachers. And Ann actually has prove that she is pretty good at the clarinet because she has made it into All County 4 years in a row. All County is where all the schools in the county come together with their band kids and we find out who is the best players. Each instrument is judged with certain requirements and you see who knows it best. Typically they only take 9-12 clarinets every year and she has always been apart of it. There are like 30 of them trying out as well…
Something else you might not know about Ann is the fact that she has been certified in 6 different programs, and 2 or 3 in the coming months. At her high school, they offer their students some opportunity to get some certifications to help them later in life. Of course Ann goes and jumps on the offer and takes the classes. So far she has been certified in:
- Microsoft Office Word 2013
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2013
- Microsoft Office Excel 2013
- Microsoft Office Access 2013
- Adobe Illustrator CC 2015
- Adobe Illustrator CS6 2016
- Adobe Photoshop CC 2015
Ann would like to thank you all for checking her out (not like that. She doesn’t have a dirty mind…most of the time). She wants me to give you a hug right now. Trust me, your guts are on the floor. You can pick them up on your way out. I’m kidding. Maybe. She you like you to come back and check out some of her other stuff and maybe even follow? It all depends on you. As soon as you hit that follow button, your life will be changed. Literally. Now you can say you follow a girl named Ann who likes to read books.
Disclaimer: All the reviews on my site are my opinion and things I didn’t like or liked. I don’t mean to offend any of you if I don’t like your favorite book because we are all different. We all have different minds and we all think different. That is one reason why I love having a blog in the first place.

I kept hearing that parallel parking was hard but my mom looked at me on my first try and said that I was perfect. Let’s just hope I can do it again when I take my driving test on Friday!
