The Instagram Book Tag

Good Day Everyone!

Kayla @ Kdrewthebookworm took it upon herself to make this book tag and I thought it was amazing! I couldn’t help myself but to get my hands dirty and do this tag! I love Instagram (a lot) and I love doing book tag. What could be better?

Feed: Many people give a special theme to their Instagram feeds, or none at all. Are most of the books you read of the same genre, or do you like to mix it up?

I like to mix it up, for the most time. I sometimes I get on a genre kick and that is the only thing I want to read – like currently I have only been reading Sarah J. Maas – but for the most part I mix it up.

Filter: Instagrammers often put filters onto their photos to make them look vibrant and beautiful. Name a book with a stunning cover!

Passenger by: Alexandra Bracken is such a beautiful book with the cover and naked. I think I like it better without the book cover on because it is a gorgeous shade of blue and it has this silver tree on it. I love this whole entire book cover. I still have yet to read it. Soon though…

Following: On Instagram, users follow others to see what they post, and basically for a little mash-up of their lives. Name a book character whose steps you always enjoy following

Cia from The Testing by: Joelle Charbonneau. Yes, I didn’t have that much in common with Cia but I really loved reading about her whole situation. Her story is so beautiful and written with elegance.

Followers: Many celebrities have millions of Instagram followers. Name a hyped-up book read by thousands that you were hesitant to read, but ended up devouring

The Mortal Instrument series by: Cassandra Clare. So many people read these books and they loved them so I wasn’t sure if I would like them. I finally gave it a chance and I loved it. Now I am addicted to Cassandra Clare. I think I have problems…

Direct Message: DMs are often used to send pictures found on Instagram to others, or simply just to chat. Name a book you always recommend to others

So many books! I think I would have to say Shatter Me by: Tahereh Mafi because of how perfect it is. I think everyone needs to read this book at least once because it is pure perfection. I think I have recommended this book to three or four people now and they are currently addicted to this series now.

I loved the concept of the book Before I Fall by: Lauren Oliver but I got tired of the whole thing. I wish that there was some things that occurred differently and that it ended differently.

Notifications: Whether you admit it or not, everyone loves and waits anxiously to see the pink notification button pop up at the bottom of their Instagram feed. Name an unreleased book that you’ve been anxiously awaiting

Carve the Mark by: Veronica Roth, which comes out January 17, 2017. I really loved Divergent and this one sounds so amazing that I hope it is good. The book sounds different than anything else I have read so hopefully I like it!

Hashtag: Many Instagrammers use hashtags to get their photos out there, or just for fun. Create yourself a bookish hashtag! It could be anything from just your blog’s name, to something crazy spectacular!

Story: Many Instagrammers love using Instagram’s Story feature to let their followers know what they’re currently up to. Name a book you’re currently reading!

Queen of Shadows by: Sarah J. Maas. I about 50% through the book and it is the second time I have read this book. I forgot most of what happened in the book and I am so excited to read the rest of the book!

Tag: Many people tag friends in their photos because they were together when the picture was taken, or simply just because. Tag 5 awesome bloggers that you’d like to see take on this tag!
