Ben & Jerry’s Book Tag

I know, I know, I know. I have said this a million times about me not liking having several tags in a week. But when life is stressing you out and giving your face pimples you can’t control, you basically give up. Anyway, when you are stressed out, all you really want to do is sit around and eat ice cream. At least, I used to love that. And I do mean used to because guess what. I found out that I was lactose intolerant and it sucks because I love me ice cream. And yogurt. Those are the two things that give me the worst problems. Back to the point of this, I saw Zezee @ Zezee with Books did this tag like almost two years ago and when I saw it, I knew I needed to do it. So enough with my rambling on and let’s get on with the post!

Vanilla Caramel Fudge:
Pick a light, fluffy contemporary

45632

I have to go back to my gut here and say the book I have mentioned a million and ten times recently. But Estelle Maskame’s Did I Mention I Love You series is just amazing and light, and fluffy! I just love this book so much that I don’t know what I would do without this book. How did I survive before?

Mint Chocolate Cookie:
A new release that you wish everybody would read

hidsol

I mean this one isn’t really a new release but it was released in 2017 so I’m letting it count. Lily Collins’ Unfiltered is something that everyone needs to read. It’s empowering and inspirational. I have so much appreciation for this book. And don’t think that it is just for girls either. Guys can totally jump into the action here.

Cherry Garcia:
An ending that was bittersweet

1532

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas. How can I say this without ruining the book? … That’s actually a hard question but just read the book. Even though it isn’t the last book in this series, it is the final book in a sense. Makes any sense? I don’t know. But it has to be ACOWAR.

Strawberry Shortcake:
A book containing your OTP of OTPs

This is really hard for me to answer since I don’t have just one book that has several OTPs. I have books that contain different OTPs but that’s it. Plus, I don’t like strawberries so it is ironic that I don’t have an answer for that one.

Milk & Cookies:
Two authors who, if they collaborated, would go perfectly together

jsdl

Very, very, very hard question to answer here! There are so many but I’m drawing a blank. Oh wait, I know! Ransom Riggs and Tahereh Mafi. I just can’t believe that they are married and have a kid but never wrote a book together?! Like really. Their books are so different from each other but if you put these two minds together, who knows what it could produce. And I would be first in line to buy it.

Boston Cream Pie:
A book that had you turning your pages late into the night

disk

Ugh! I don’t like this tag anymore. There are so many answers to these questions! On the top of my head, the first one I think of is Michelle Hodkin’s The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I laid awake for like the whole morning to finish that book. I begged my parents to take me to Books-A-Million that morning to get me the next book. And I read that one by Sunday morning. But then, I had to wait a week to get the last one. I need The Noah Shaw Chronicles now because I’m talking about these books!

Chocolate Therapy:
A book that makes you feel better after a long day of life

ehikls

No matter what, I will never forget the series that started it all. No matter how much hatred I might have for the last book, I will always love this series. Divergent by Veronica Roth. If I don’t feel like reading it, I go and watch the movie. I probably wouldn’t be sitting here if it wasn’t for that book.

Coffee, Coffee, Buzzbuzzbuzz!:
A book not yet released that you can’t wait to get your hands on

You all must hate me because you want to make me pick one? There are a million. Right now, I currently can’t wait to get my hands on The Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare. After reading Lord of Shadows, I need to know what is going to happen. I can’t wait until 2018. Let’s just see when in 2018 it is supposed to come out now.

I Tag:

If you are now wanting some ice cream, it worked! You have been magically tagged by me to do this tag. Basically, that means you all have to do this tag if you have yet to do it or want to do it.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think about them? What would you put in place for answers? Do you wear makeup? What are your thoughts about ice cream? What is your favorite type of ice cream? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Happy Reading,
unnamed

    1. Chocolate chip cookie dough is my sisters favorite! My favorite has to be cookies and cream. Something about the cookie chunks makes it my favorite 🙂
