Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi SERIES!!

I went on a school trip on March 6 and read Shatter Me. I sort of read it in four hours also. The book was amazing. Of course people thought I was crazy for reading a book in four hours and they didn’t believe me when I said I have read 360ish books for my class. (My teacher counts it by page number. 700 pages would be 7 books. Easy to understand, right?) A friend ask me if they could read the book after me, once i finished. Don’t worry, she was a fellow book lover. I let her take it home for the weekend and she gave it back to me that Monday,  telling me that she loved the book a lot. I knew for sure that I was going to buy the rest of the series since I own the first book. Friday March 13, we went to Books-A-Million to buy the books. We went to Wendy’s then to buy books. I pick up the last copy of both Unravel Me and Ignite Me that was provided on the shelves. We stood around the store because my sister just needed Shane Dawson’s book – she almost cried when they couldn’t find a copy. Don’t worry, they found one and I lived. So I came home, redid the bookshelves and tried to finish The Odyssey. I was determined to finish that book before I read Unravel Me. I did it and on Tuesday, I stated them. I just don’t know what to say about an impeccable book!

About everything in these books had me at the edge of my bed and chair. I loved the characters and the settings and the conflict that happens in the book. It was so exciting and fun! Coming up are so SPOILERS so if you don’t want to be spoiled, just skip past this part.

When I read that Juliette wanted to be with Warner, I wanted to throw the book against the wall. I love Juliette and Adam as a couple. I could picture everything. The two would hate against Warner together. I wanted to hate Warner but I grew to love him. Yes he did have his problems but everyone has bumps in the road. Every single fight that Adam and Warner fought in, I could see it perfectly. I could really see the part when Warner and Juliette practically have sex. Oh, they are just laying in bed and Warner starts taking her clothes off. Perfectly normal. Everyone does that. Yah right. It was almost as bad as Noah and Mara from the Mara Dyer trilogy (amazing by the way 🙂 !) But the ending wanted me to have more. There is no way that is the ending of those books. They can’t end, never!

NON-SPOILERS starts back here. I would love to see this book series into a movie. This seems like a great one to be turned to a movie. Anyone else agree with that? I highly recommend this series, not just the first book. The book involves some great action and love and everything that belongs in a novel. Tahereh Mafi, you have outdone yourself! I’m so proud of you too! 🙂
